The Crabshell Inn

The Crabshell Inn

The Crabshell Inn is gloriously situated on the quayside and with its south westerly aspect basks in the sun all day. It is a great place for Kingsbridge Estuary Boat Club to meet. Not only is it good for food, but regular folk music nights are "something else", and the monthly quizzes (except July & August) are competitively friendly. We have a lot to thank hosts David and Yvonne for. Thanks!

TO GET THERE - find Kingsbridge in south Devon, then take the clearly signed road towards Dartmouth (A379) with the Estuary on your right for about 600 yards. The Crabshell is part of the first group of buildings you'll come to on your right. By the Crabshell sign, turn right into the pub's (free) quayside car park.

To book a table, telephone the pub on 01548 85 2345

A friendly welcome awaits in the cosy bar with views over the Estuary.

Music Nights (mainly Folk) are held throughout the year on the first Thursday of each month from 8.30 ish. Free admission! Come along to sing, join in the choruses or just listen. 2008: 7 Feb, 6 Mar, 3 Apr, 1 May, 5 Jun, 3 Jul, 7 Aug, 4 Sep, 2 Oct, 6 Nov, 4 Dec. Other folk concerts are held regularly in the Function Room (More)

Quiz Nights. These are held on the second Thursday of the month from about 8.30pm onwards. Teams can be of any number but each participant pays £1. The "prize pot" goes to the winning team which gets the "honour" of setting the questions for the next quiz.
