Latest Photo Monday 12 May 2008. The Police have been warning that boat thieves are becoming more and more daring and this proves it. Where is Boatwatch when you really need it? The Club Chairman was getting ready for an afternoon's sailing when, without him realising, bold as brass criminals quietly pulled his boat onto a trailer and drove off through the town.

• The Club has many unsung heroes one of whom is Jonny Towell. Together with his mate Phil he procured and delivered a small dinghy which will form the basis of KEBC's contribution to Kingsbridge in Bloom. It is now proudly bolted to the Embankment awaiting planting up. Thanks Jon.

• The next KEBC get-together is on Wednesday 21st May starting at 7.30. Weather permitting we hope to erect our new gazebo outside so members can get a closer view. (It is pictured above). So come and join us for a drink and a chat and bring anything you want to sell or swap. Rumour has it that recently joined member Dave Halsall of "Singing Paddles" will be bringing some canoes along for members to give it a go.
